LH_brushes_sm It's been an interesting week: I've been wrapping up a 12-week online class that has helped me improve my approach to the business of making art, and just as I began looking for the next thing on my list I was contacted by a new organization wanting a teacher for community education in my fields - art and music. Now keep in mind that teaching isn't something that has been on my list... this just landed in my lap. After some soul-searching, I've decided to give it a try. So, in gratitude for all of the teachers who have taught me over the years: from Mrs. Wallick in kindergarten to my professors at Juilliard, and all of the conference presenters and online gurus since then, THANK YOU. Thanks for the inspiration. Thanks for lighting my fire(s). Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I promise to pass along the same. I don't have to know it all; I just have to share my experience. Wish me luck. I'll be thinking of each one of you!
