Continue learning the mechanics of how music works. Apply this new knowledge to performance and
composition. We'll brush up on the basics, touch on solfege, and focus on chord inversions/progressions,
minor scales/modes, and harmonizing melodies. For teens and adults. Prerequisites apply.
Private classes and workshops are also available.
A practicing studio artist and Juilliard-trained classical musician, Kim Tinuviel has a diverse repertoire
of media and expression, encompassing everything from digital photography and encaustic painting/sculpture
to metalwork/welding to live orchestral performance. She has taught, lectured, tutored and coached in her various
fields for over 20 years, and has called Whidbey home since 1997. In addition to educating, creating and performing,
Kim is the owner of a small marketing communications and graphic/web design firm (Tinuviel Creative), and a
local photo tour business (Whidbey Photo Adventures).
