Chris Maynard, feather art
Today I'm contemplating a change in artistic direction, and am looking outward as an inspiration for change. My colleague Chris Maynard of Olympia WA creates artwork that is fresh and joyful. He uses small surgical tools to cut and shape legally-obtained bird feathers, and designs beautiful shadow box compositions that evoke the true nature of the birds he celebrates. I hope you'll take a look! http://www.featherfolio.com/galleries/shadow-boxes/new-work/
